Follow these steps to configure the iPhone iPad or iPod to connect to TorGuard VPN using the built in L2TP feature.

Step 1: From the Home Screen, press the Settings icon

Step 2: Next, select General from the Settings menu.

Step 3: From the General menu, select Network.

Step 4: In the Network menu, select the VPN option.

Step 5: In the VPN menu, choose the heading titled, Add VPN Configuration

Step 6: In the Add Configuration menu, make sure L2TP is selected.

Step 7: Fill out the Required fields, then press save when you are done.

•  Description: This is a name for your VPN configuration. For our Netherlands VPN example we will use "TorGuardNL".
•  Server: This is the L2TP IP server address that can be found in your activation email. You can also click "My Emails" in the client area to view this server info.
•  Account: This is the VPN username that was sent in your TorGuard VPN activation email.
•  RSA SecurID: Not used in this configuration. Make sure it's OFF
•  Password: If left blank, every time a connection is established, a prompt for your password will appear. If  completed, then the iPhone will store your password for future connections. You can find this info in your VPN activation email.
•  Secret: For the secret key, enter "torguard".
•  Send All Traffic: This will allow for either split tunnel or route-all depending on VPN configuration. This example will use the route-all config, make sure its set to ON.

Step 8: The saved configuration will appear on the VPN screen. You can then slide the VPN to the “ON” position, and your iPhone will begin IPSec communication.

That's it! Your now connected to your secure L2TP VPN server on your iphone, ipad, or ipod.
